Dr. Larson developed a passion for livestock and agricultural production while growing up in Southern Idaho. The time spent on the family diversified farming operation fueled her desire to pursue a career that serves the animal industry and the people who care for them.
Dr. Larson earned her doctorate in animal nutrition at New Mexico State University with an emphasis on trace mineral nutrition. Previously, she conducted animal nutrition research as a research associate for Montana State University of Animal and Range Sciences. She earned her master’s degree in animal nutrition and her bachelor’s degree in animal science at Montana State University.
Dr. Larson joined Zinpro Corporation in 1997 as a research nutrition. Currently, as the Associate Director of Global Technical Services since 2020, Dr. Connie Larson oversees and manages global technical services across all species. She also has the primary role for conducting research and providing technical service for equine.
